There have been reports of an 'otherworldly' wreckage on planet Mars, but who does it belong to? 

The said machine looks something like a flying saucer and was recently discovered by NASA.

We just want to spoil it right here if you went for the 'Martians' option...

That right there is the back shell of NASA's Perseverance rover that makes frequent visits to the red planet. 

This wreckage specifically is from February 2021.

The debris was part of the equipment that helped the Perseverance mission safely land on the Red Planet in 2021.
