The Flojo Butterfly Foundation is a new non-profit company that is on a mission to train, develop, and empower men and women to reach their full potential in the workplace.

Speaking to Keri, Peters tells her about the amazing idea and the inspiration behind its birth. Over lockdown, the space opposite her flat was used for the homeless as their shelter. She was taken aback by how well the social workers treated the residents and how dignified they were. One night, she heard shouting and thought there was a fight but actually, they were singing a chorus together. This is how she was introduced to the residents and extended a helping hand.

Her passion for assisting the underprivileged led to The Flojo Butterfly Foundation, where she and three other women get candidates (from the street) who fit a particular criteria and pay them a stipend while they learn a trade under a business.
