DJ Max Hurrell is humbled by the support of the song 'Zol'
'Zol' has become the most popularly downloaded track in South Africa. Max Hurrell who is the genius behind the song spoke to Darren, Keri and Sky.
It all started when the Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, told South Africans recently that the sale of cigarettes will not be permitted under level 4. She continued to give a descriptive explanation of why zol is also part of the ban.

This speech caught the ears of South African producer and DJ Max Hurrell, who used the doom and gloom speech and made it the talk of the nation, and the minister who requested a meeting with Hurrell.

Hurrell says he is truly humbled to reach four million streams and be on top along with other leading artists. He also shared how long it took him to create the song and get it on all platforms for downloading.
