Amid all the false information being shared about the coronavirus, the Department of Health has created a WhatsApp helpline to assist with any issues.
As there is an overload of false information circulating, the Department of Health has created a WhatsApp number to assist citizens with information about the virus.

All you have to do is click on the link (see below) and send a message saying 'Hi'. A welcome message from the Department of Health - along with a drop-down menu with subheadings such as news, myths, about, prevention, symptoms, treatment, risks, travel, testing, and share this service, will follow.
The chat clearly states that the user will not be spammed as it is designed to communicate about the virus.
