Changing the life of Uber driver Menzi Mngoma
The studio was filled with smiles and gratitude as Darren, Keri, and Sky unveiled the best surprise ever for Uber driver Menzi Mngoma.
He is probably the most popular Uber driver in KZN and South Africa at the moment. He hit the mark of fame after a video of him was uploaded to Facebook by Kim Davie, which unveiled his stunning opera voice.
Menzi was overwhelmed with phone calls, messages, and even interviews about his amazing talent. He was featured on East Coast Breakfast's 30 Second CV, but it didn't end there.
Darren worked tirelessly behind the scenes to change Menzi's life.
Menzi was brought into the studio on Monday, 3 June, but he was not expecting what was about to take place.
Whilst he settled in, we brought in part one of the big surprise for Menzi.
Hendrik Joerges, a music producer and vocal artist - and the genius behind East Coast Breakfast's hit jingle 'Sunny Side Up', offered to record, produce, and create a single with Menzi, which will be aired on East Coast Radio!
How amazing? But it didn't end there!
