When this year's Oscar nominations were announced, many had mixed feelings about 'Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan' (usually shortened to Borat Subsequent Moviefilm).

The film has been nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role and Best Writing (Adapted Screenplay), but even though the awards ceremony has yet to take place, the movie has already bagged another title.

The movie has broken the Guinness World Record for the longest title for a film that has been nominated for an Oscar!

The Borat title contains 110 characters and the previous record holder, 'Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines or How I Flew from London to Paris in 25 hours 11 minutes' has held on to the title since 1965, but only had 85 characters in the title (which might seem hard to believe).

While this is quite an achievement, it is not the first or only film to ever break a Guinness World record.

Here's a list of a few movies that broke some lesser-known, but impressive world records:

Boss - The largest movie poster in the world

The previous title holder was Michael Jackson's 'This Is It'. The 'Boss' movie poster was unveiled in London at the Little Gransden Airfield in the UK, on the 3rd of October 2013, and it was 58.87 metres wide and 54.94 metres high.

Spectre - Largest Film Stunt Explosion

The James Bond movie franchise is known for many things - fast cars, beautiful women, incredible tech, and even more spectacular stunts. The 2015 movie, 'Spectre', received its Guinness World Record certificate for the largest film stunt explosion ever. The official titleholder is Academy Award winner Chris Corbould who created the explosive scene in his role as Special Effects and Miniature Effects Supervisor on the movie.

And a special mention to a Marvel superfan who has broken the Guinness World Record for the most cinema productions attended of the same film.

Now we know it's a good movie but watching it 191 times?! Seems a bit excessive.

Then again, we all have our favourite movies that we enjoy watching time and time again.
