Big Favour: KZN organisation chips in to bring hope to Tholuthando Children’s Home

Welcome to another edition of The Big Favour with Darren, Keri, and Sky.

The recent #KZNFloods once again showed us the spirit of Ubuntu in KZN. Communities came together and continue to do so to help those in need.

Miss Sindi Mbatha is the Founder and CEO of Tholuthando Children’s Home, which is situation in Embo community of KwaZulu-Natal. The home is currently housing 46 children. 

They desperately need food. Food items such as mealie meal, maize, vegetables, and rice are essential to the kids' nutritional needs.

Oxford Fresh Market has answered the call to help Tholuthando Children’s Home. 

Patrick Hyland, the Executive Creative & Marketing Director, listened to the pain and problems that the NGO is facing. The organisation has reached out to us to offer some relief for Sindi and the children's home.

Oxford Fresh Market would like to donate R15,000 in Oxford food store vouchers to Tholuthando Children’s Home, which will be able to assist Sindi and her team with their work.
