Big Favour: Toyota Knights donation allows CHOC to continue their legacy

Welcome to another edition of The Big Favour with Darren, Keri, and Sky.

The recent #KZNFloods once again showed us the spirit of Ubuntu in KZN. Communities came together and continue to do so to help those in need.

Agie Govender, who is the regional manager for CHOC KZN, is a social worker and has been with the organisation for 12 years.

For people who may not be aware, CHOC is a non-profit organisation

The organisation advocates for the health and well-being of children diagnosed with cancer or life-threatening blood disorders.

The incredibly passionate, dedicated staff and volunteers of CHOC aim to save lives through early detection and support programmes for the families affected by cancer.

"Our motto is to take care of any child regardless of their financial status with cancer," said Agie. 

After hearing this extraordinary story, many people were moved and wanted to help the organisation CHOC. In came Naem Saib, who is the vice-chairperson of the East Coast Knights.

The East Coast Toyota Knights have been involved with CHOC KZN for many years, including the fundraiser that will take place later this year.

East Coast Toyota Knights has donated R20,000 in cash to towards their fundraiser which will take place in Durban this year.
