The worst turn-out for an event!
Everything was arranged for this to be the most epic gig ever.
Massive venue, hottest band, I was the MC and everyone who was anyone was there.
Media, celebrities, socialite’s lights camera action - all the bells and whistles - in fact everyone had been paid IN FULL a month before the gig. (Unheard of in the industry) BUT somehow in all the organising someone had forgotten to tell the public.
Not one person of the public showed up!
But the band was paid and as good sports did the gig anyway - Everyone was so shocked at the mess up that they just stood around while the band played on. I wasn’t going to miss out on this opportunity so I hit the dance floor all alone.
I was the only one on the dance floor to one of SA’s hottest bands.
Who was the local band that played their gig anyway?
