FRIDAY 29 AUGUST

Big bass @Origin
Koan Sound and Black Sun Empire are ready to slam down one of the baddest bass festivals Durban will ever see at Origin tomorrow night. Starts at 8pm and is going to be thumping. Early bird tickets are R80 and presold are R100.

SATURDAY 30 AUGUST

Laurie Levine & Rowan Stuart @KZNSA
If you feeling like something a little more relaxed then Laurie Levine and Rowan Stuart will be in concert at the KZNSA Art Gallery in Glenwood. Levine is well-known folk artist based in Jozi and our Rowan Stuart needs no introduction. Kicks off at 6pm. For ticket details check out the KZNSA Gallery’s website

The Accidentals @Jack Rabbits
Then this is a tough one as The Accidentals will also be playing at Jack Rabbits with The Volsunga Saga. Dj’s include Gucci Napkins and Loud Lungs. First band is up at 9pm. Since the weather is looking dreary for Sunday too you might as well hit both gigs.

SUNDAY 31 AUGUST

Sunday upmarket @Umhlanga
The regular Sunday Upmarket in Umhlanga will be on as per usual from 9am till 2pm. Rock an umbrella, some gumboots and support our vast array of local traders.

Morning trade @Morrison St
And if you still haven’t made it down to the Morning Trade Market at Morrison Street. Try pop past, fresh produce, artist exhibitions, a saxophone player and bacan and banana cupcakes. You won’t be disappointed.

COoLoUtViNtAgE @Ciao Bella Cafe
COoLoUtViNtAgE returns with another social gathering at Ciao Bella Cafe on the point. So don your vintage outfit and head over to the cafe on Sunday for some chilled vibes, great music, food, vintage pop up stalls & more. The event starts at 2pm. R100 at the door before 6pm.
