Shots Fired: Bongani Fassie drops diss track

Former Jozi member Bongani Fassie has released a new song, and in it he disses the entire local hip hop scene. Woah!

Bongani Fassie has been quiet for a while. We haven’t heard any new music from him since his Jozi days.

The few things we have heard from Bongani, however, came when he dismissed rumours that suggested he was broke, and when he revealed that he had survived three suicide attempts. Oh, and he's a daddy to a baby girl now.

Bongani has finally broken his musical silence, with the rapper/singer/producer/anything-else-you-can-think-of dropping a new song on Sunday.

Entitled Stretcher, the song takes shots at almost every name in the South African hip hop game. AB Crazy, AKA, K.O, Cassper Nyovest, L-Tido, Maggz, JR, and Slikour are just some of the rappers who endured Bongani’s wrath.

The third and final verse of the song is reserved for his former Jozi bandmate Da L.E.S. In the verse, he asks why L.E.S, who recently dropped a new music video, claims to be his homie, while Bongani also claims to being the one who founded Jozi.

Damn, Bongani. Why are you so angry?

Meanwhile people on Twitter had this to say about the song.
