The KwaZulu-Natal Premier's office says it will not delay in taking decisive action against any individual who may be involved in corrupt and questionable actions.

Reports yesterday said a Durban businessman is suing the office for an estimated R2.3-million which he says is owed to him.

Former nightclub owner Nick Dranias claims to have organised a number of events at the request of former spokesperson of the Premier, Ndabezinhle Sibiya but was not paid.

The money he is claiming includes interest and legal costs.

Spokesperson Thami Ngwenya says it is an internal matter and the legal representatives of both parties are discussing it.

''As the office we are firm at the principle of good governance and against all acts of any form of irregularity and we've advised the plaintiff that he should pursue the matter through the legal process that he has already undertaken'' he said.
