The Hollywood hunk, who played Christian Grey in the steamy film adaptation of E.L. James’ erotic novel, is currently in South Africa to work on a new film.

Earlier this year rumours swirled that Jamie would be quitting the Fifty Shades franchise - apparently because his wife Amelia Warner wasn't comfortable with all the raunchy sex scenes in the movie.

Luckily for his fans it turned out it was just a rumour after all - with Jamie confirming he's looking forward to making the Fifty Shades sequel.

And in the meanwhile he's keeping himself busy with other projects - he's in South Africa to film a new Netflix movie called Jadotville.

It's described as a war thriller set to be released on the internet television network in 2016.

The film tells the true story of the 1961 siege of a 150 member Irish U.N. battalion under Commander Patrick Quinlan (Dornan) by 3 000 Congolese troops, led by French and Belgian mercenaries working for mining companies, Variety reported.

An insider has revealed that filming is due to start on Wednesday.

Parts of the movie will also be filmed in Ireland.

Jadotville was developed in association with the Irish Film Board and will be an official Irish/South African co-production.
