Jack Wilson leaves Sharks

New Zealand-born wing Jack Wilson, signed by the Cell C Sharks for this year's SupeRugby tournament, has left the union.

The 25-year-old was signed by the Sharks from English club Saracens in December last year.

This morning Wilson took to Twitter to thank the Sharks for his time in Durban and wished his former team-mates good luck in the upcoming Currie Cup.

So on to new things.. Just want to say thanks to the @TheSharksZA for having me, made some life long mates. And good luck in the curry cup!!

The Sharks open their 2015 Currie Cup campaign away against the Pumas at the Mbombela Stadium on Friday, August 7 at 6pm.

Aussie lock, Dave McDuling, has meanwhile arrived in Durban to join the Sharks.

More rugby news is that KZN have made a winning start at the Under-16 Coca Cola Grant Khomo Week.

KZN beat their rugby counterparts from Eastern Province 24-11 on Monday.

Van der Mescht from Glenwood High was named player-of-the-match.
