East Coast All Stars Shine
Like I said; had I known it was even a distant possibility - I would have put "playing a cricket match at Kingsmead" right at the top of my bucket list.
That's just what happened this past weekend when the East Coast All Stars team were matched up against a formidable team of all-rounder’s who preferred to remain unnamed...
We were completely out played on the day but that didn't matter really; we were playing at KINGSMEAD! There was a modest crowd of supporters, the concessions were open for drink and food and the weather was just brilliant!
It was already a perfect day BUT what made it truly remarkable for me was hitting a SIX and making a catch on the boundary that just made this so shweet!
This Last Man Stands format of the game is fun. It's for all skill levels and you can join a team or make up a team of your own.
