Cricket Bombshell

Graeme Smith will retire from International cricket after the current test against Australia. We wanted to know if you are happy to see him go. Take a look at what you had to say.
Greame Smith is longest serving Captain
He was only 22 years and 82 days old when he captained his first match against Bangladesh - the youngest ever South African captain!
This is what the Breakfast team had to share about Greame stepping down:
'I would have liked to have seen Graeme Smith set the kind of records that no captain in the world has set before.
He still has so much potential.
I’m upset that he won’t be delivering on the international stage anymore. He still has four or five years left in him.' - Darren Maule
'I have fond memories of watching Graeme play with my late gran.
She was a huge Graeme Smith fan! She really gave him full support each time he played for the Proteas.
It didn’t matter what she was doing, even if she was cooking, she would drop everything and speed walk to the TV to watch Graeme - It was so funny!
So, I am quite sad to see him leave international cricket. Seeing him play takes me back to those good ol’ days with my gran!' - Natarah Nadesan
‘He is a great captain and sad to see him retire’ – Mak Dlamini
