Boy did 2014 fly by!

What an amazing journey it has been friends!

Here are some of the East Coast Breakfast team's personal highlights of 2014

Darren:

When OJ Symcox took me out to Aliwal Shoal to swim in the open water with Sharks. I've have since become an honorary member of the Shark protection agency; "Shark Angels".

Being invited to and performing Stand-up comedy at the inaugural Copenhagen comedy festival in Denmark. I look forward to piloting some amazing comedy initiatives in Durban in 2015.

Having then Miss SA and now Miss World Rolene Strauss together with ex Miss SA Melinda Bam pour a bucket of ice water over my head for the #IceBucketChallenge.

Natarah:

I know you held your breath with me when I hopped on a bike with a complete stranger and sped into Newcastle with him! Sergio you rock! #BreakfastTour #GoodTimes

I went to Switzerland for a week and loved every moment of it. The coolest part is that we were able to broadcast to South Africa from there. It was incredible. A big thank you to Estie and the team from SA Natural Products for making it happen.

Remember when we asked the hairdresser to chop, chop, chop? Yes, all my long hair was gone in a flash when Terence Pillay co-ordinated a rad makeover for me. Best hair decision I ever made.

Gabriel:

Getting to drive a Jaguar XF thanks to SMD Group Ballito

Cruising KZN on the East Coast Breakfast Tour

3. Jumping off a scaffolding during the Durban Motor Show and bleaching my goaty for Toy Story. These two experiences confirmed that I'm not a "gambling man".

The Producers - George, Mike and Tanya

George:

Watching Ladysmith Black Mambazo & Johnny Clegg live at Botanic Gardens

Mike:

One of my highlights of 2014 was the month of MO'Vember; out of it came the camaraderie, the manly challenge of growing a most impressive moustache, but most importantly the incredibly cool MO'Vember tshirts. Also, it was for a good cause. But yeah, the tshirts. #TooNice

Tanya:

One of my favourite moments of 2014 was when Alain and Kevlar Kev had to share a shirt for three hours! I had to work closely with them that day and got to see and experience all the behind-the-scenes action! #TooFunny

Thank you for being part of this awesome year!

Here's to bigger and better things in 2015
