The Blitzboks are the Dubai Sevens champions. This after beating Fiji 26-14 in the final this afternoon. Cecil Afrika, Branco du Preez, Seabelo Senatla and Chris Dry scored tries against Fiji.

Senatla has now managed 168 tries for the Blitzboks and is 11 short of the South African record set by Fabian Juries.
The Boks had earlier crushed New Zealand 40-0 in the quarter-finals.
England ended third in Dubai.

Sundowns have beaten Free State Stars 4-1 in the Absa Premiership.
Percy Tau scored twice for Sundowns, while Khama Billiat and Keagan Dolly also netted for the African champions this afternoon.
Polokwane City won 3-2 in their league game at Platinum Stars.
Puleng Tlolane and Rodney Ramagalela scored for Polokwane.

Chelsea have defeated Manchester City 3-1 in the English Premier League.
Gary Cahill scored an own goal, while Diego Costa, Eden Hazard and Willian found the right net for Chelsea.
Cesc Fabregas started for Chelsea at the Etihad.
City had Fernandinho and Sergio Aguero sent off late in the match.

Brandon Stone leads after three days of the Alfred Dunhill Championship.
Stone is three strokes clear at Leopard Creek.
Charl Schwartzel and Keith Horne have a share of second spot.

Durban will host a T20 Challenge double-header tomorrow.
The early game will see the Lions up against the Warriors.
The second match will feature Hollywoodbets Dolphins and the Cobras.
The first fixture starts at 10h00 in the morning and second at 14h30 in the afternoon.
The Dolphins are third in the T20 Challenge standings.
Multiply Titans top the log and will play again this coming Wednesday.

That is when the Titans will host the Lions in Centurion.
