One of the victims who survived the R102 fatal crash in Empangeni yesterday, says he still doesn't believe he made it out alive.
Five people were killed on the scene after a minibus veered out of its lane and crashed into a bus that was travelling in the opposite direction.
A sixth victim died later in hospital - while others have since been discharged from hospital.

Sihle Mbanjwa had been travelling in the minibus taxi with his brother, Nkanyiso, from Pietermaritzburg to Empangeni when the crash happened.
The 28-year-old says when he opened his eyes he immediately searched for his brother.
Mbanjwa says both his brother's arms were broken. He also sustained other injuries.
"People were lying still all around me. My foot was trapped, and when I managed to pull it out, I exited the taxi and fell to the ground - as I was very weak. It felt as if I'm losing my breath. I later regained consciousness. Despite all this, I'm happy I only suffered a broken arm and fractured legs," he said.
