DA leader, Helen Zille, has called on the president to either challenge the report or explain the situation.
The Sunday Times article yesterday claimed that Zuma was the father of a 4-month old baby girl whom he had fathered with 39-year-old Sonono Khoza.
The paper claims that a delegation acting on Zuma's behalf, visited the Khoza family in December last year to discuss the Zulu customary damages, that are due when a child is born out of wedlock.
Zuma, the presidency and Khoza are yet to comment on the report. Zille believes the president has two options.
"If the story is not true, President Zuma must sue the Sunday Times. If it is true it is not a personal matter. Currently the government is engaged in a very large, multi million rand one love campaign promoting single partner sexual relationships. It is very important that the president should lead by example."
