In our usual fashion of giving more than 1.9 million listeners the greatest chart toppers, unsurpassed content and the very best in on-air talent, the East Coast Radio airwaves are set to become even hotter!

A fresh new line-up that brings you some fantastic new talent while keeping your old favourites will take effect from Monday the 4^th of July, 2011.

On weekdays get ready for a new voice as comedian and actor (and sometimes crazy guy), Darren Maule, takes over the mic as your breakfast show host, from 6 - 9am on The Breakfast Stack. Darren is a master storyteller with a natural funnybone, bringing you just the right dose of fun needed to kick-start your morning. You can still count on the wicked sense of humour from tag team Seema Diahnan on news, Johan Van Bargen on traffic and Dumi Kunene on sports.

Darren has been a familiar face on the South African entertainment circuit for over 16 years. As well as being one of South Africa's top stand-up comedians, he has starred in award-winning television series as well as numerous advertisements both locally and internationally. Television viewers have seen Darren most recently on The Celebrity Survivor Island.

Breaking into the radio industry for the very first time, Darren's natural sense of humour and intelligent banter promises to take East Coast Radio's new breakfast show to greater heights. The Breakfast Stack is set to be engaging and fun with copious amounts of irreverence, comedy moments and unique take on everyday events.

Find out interesting tidbits of information about Darren - where he grew up, when he had his first kiss and what he loves most about the East Coast by staying tuned to the show every morning as tag team Seema, Johan, and Dumi play 'Spin the Wheel of getting to know Darren'.

You can still expect some of your favourites like 'The Grand Challenge' and scam calls at their best, but more especially, the voices you love. Johann Von Bargen, affectionately known as the Traffic Guy, continues to save you the hassle of sitting in traffic jams with his up-to-the-minute traffic reports. Never missing a beat on hot news and current affairs, the quick-thinking, sharp-witted Seema Diahnan ensures you are always kept abreast of the happenings around you while Dumi Kunene brings you the most recent sports updates. New show producer, George Thorne, keeps a watchful eye on the guys whilst keeping his finger on the pulse making sure that they bring just the right dose of entertainment to kickstart your day.

Makhosi Khoza promises to raise a few tempers with his quick wit and humorous outlook to almost everything while keeping you company during the first session of the Workzone between 9am to 12pm.

The ultimate family guy with a zesty energy for keeping his East Coast family pleased, Peter G gets you through your workday as he takes over the reigns during the second shift of the Workzone between 12pm till 3pm.

Quick on his feet and with great conversational style, Damon Beard’s boyish charm still eases you through the traffic on your daily trip home. The Drive with Damon remains the same with Damon and his team - Jason, Natarah and Johan Van Bargen making your drive home in the traffic a pleasant one every weekday between 3pm and 6pm.

With all that testosterone throughout the day, you can count on girl-next-door Abi Ray to help you unwind at the end of a hard day. Abi’s bubbly personality and considerate nature makes her the perfect evening companion every day between 6pm to 9pm.

Look out for current affairs powerhouse Ndumiso Ngcobo between 9pm and 11pm. Popular columnist and author, listeners can expect a highly entertaining show from Ndumiso that will either leave you nodding your head in approval or in absolute outrage. Either way, he will have you thinking.

Count on the company of Sirshen Moodliar between 11pm and 2am to help you enjoy your moments of insomnia with light-hearted chats and great music.

And if the weekdays sound amazing, then get ready for a radical overhaul of the Weekend schedule, which includes well-known presenters Jane Linley-Thomas (6 to 10am) and Neville Pillay (10am to 11am) entertaining you every Saturday and Sunday.

From 1pm your airwaves will be owned by the young and funky with Kyleigh Lazarus and Samson Oduntan bringing you the Global Charts on a Saturday from 1pm to 5pm, Nelisa Kala at 5pm till 9pm and Lebo Masike will entertain the party animals and night owls from 9pm to midnight.

Sunday afternoons are all about unwinding and listening to great music. You can count on Trevor Williams to have you boogying from 1pm to 3pm, Kyleigh and Samson bring you the Top 20 from 3pm to 5pm, Nelisa is back from 5pm till 9pm and Lebo from 9pm to midnight making sure that your weekend has the perfect end, with excellent company and the best hits of the 80s, 90s and today!
